Shore Excursion Terms and Conditions

Conditions
In selling tickets (including coupons or vouchers) or otherwise promoting or making arrangements for Shore Excursions – whether for air, land or local water transportation; tours; sports; or any other recreational activities; shore accommodations or meals for any service, facility or activity other than on board the vessel, easyCruise only acts as an agent for the independent tour operator supplying such excursions or services. easyCruise cannot be held responsible for the acts or omissions of these independent contractors. Participation by a passenger in Shore Excursions is conditional upon such passenger’s acceptance of this and all other terms and conditions here set forth in the Shore Excursions Terms and Conditions and, depending on the activity, other documents which, among other things, expressly release easyCruise from any liability for such participation. Participation may also be subject to the independent tour contractor’s own terms and conditions.

Booking
You will only be allowed to participate in a Shore Excursion if you have a valid ticket. Tickets, coupons and vouchers are non-transferable and are only valid on the Shore Excursion and date shown on the ticket (or such other amended time as notified to you by easyCruise on the Shore Excursions notice board). If you do not attend your Shore Excursion at the time stated on the ticket (or such other amended time as notified to you by easyCruise on the Shore Excursions notice board), you shall not be entitled to a refund. It is your responsibility to check the notice board to check the time for your Shore Excursion.

Cancellation and Modification
Cruise schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the Captain, and may occasionally be affected by variations in arrival or departure times, inclement weather, and mechanical or equipment difficulties. easyCruise reserves the right to change Shore Excursion prices and itineraries without notice. Excursions are subject to cancellation or modification depending on the number of guests participating. easyCruise reserves the right to cancel a Shore Excursion for any reason, including inclement weather, and shall not be liable for any loss to participants, save that participants holding tickets for cancelled Shore Excursions will receive a full refund.

Refunds and Cancellation Fees
If you cancel a Shore Excursion more than 24 hours prior to arrival in the port where the Shore Excursion is scheduled to operate, you will be entitled to a full refund. However, all Shore Excursions cancelled within 24 hours prior to arrival in the port where the Shore Excursion is scheduled to operate are non-refundable. You can cancel a tour by completing the “tour cancellation form” available at Reception. Refunds will be credited to the guest’s onboard account.

Personal Possessions
Personal articles including cameras, handbags, umbrellas, etc. are the guest’s responsibility. easyCruise does not assume responsibility or liability for any item, or for personal effects, lost or damaged during any Shore Excursion or activity undertaken on behalf of the guest.

Tour Operators
Tour operators have the right to require any individual to withdraw from a tour at any time if they deem that individual’s conduct detrimental to or incompatible with the interests, comfort, well-being or harmony of the group as a whole. In these circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, nor shall easyCruise be liable to you for any loss which you may suffer. Tour operators reserve the right to alter or adjust itineraries to meet local conditions for participant safety and convenience. Neither easyCruise nor local tour operators can extend financial reimbursement to compensate for a participant’s disappointment in the event circumstances beyond the reasonable control of easyCruise or the tour operator make it impossible to provide services as intended.

Limit of Liability
In all circumstances (except personal injury or death caused by our negligence), the maximum liability of easyCruise shall be the value of your ticket price.

Guests with Disabilities
While easyCruise strives to make its Shore Excursion program available to all its guests, inherent tour venue limitations and/or tour operator limitations exist, beyond easyCruise control, that limit the ability of guests with special needs to participate in certain Shore Excursions. We urge such guests to meet with the Cruise Director to discuss their special needs as they relate with the unique characteristics of each Shore Excursion.

Data Protection Policy
easyCruise will not knowingly make available any personal information which it holds about you to any person not directly responsible for or connected with the servicing of your booking.

Amendments to these terms and conditions
easyCruise reserves the right to amend these booking terms and conditions and associated documentation at any time.

Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions should be held to be invalid it shall to that extent be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue to have full force and effect.

Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your statutory rights.

Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with Greek law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Piraeus courts in relation to any dispute arising out of the Agreement.

Upon buying the ticket, the passenger has agreed to the Shore Excursion terms and conditions.
