Launch party on easyCruise Life raises €113,000 for charity

easyCruise Life was the venue for a huge party in Piraeus, Athens where over 700 guests took part in a charity auction and lottery. The event raised a staggering €113,000 for The Hellenic Society for Disabled Children (ELEPAP).  Winners of the auction received accommodation for themselves and their friends in Panoramic Suites on the new Greek Islands and Turkey cruise on easyCruise Life.

Special guests and Greek celebrities brought a touch of glamour to the port of Piraeus.  Chairman Stelios Haji-Ioannou was proud to introduce the new addition to the easyCruise fleet which boasts a swimming pool, 3 hot tubs, restaurant & bar, chill out zone, spa, sauna and wellness zone.  The ship is twice the size of first ship easyCruiseOne, and will carry over 500 passengers.

Greek pop group, ‘C:Real’ provided the music for the quayside launch party, while other entertainment was provided by performers who wowed the audience with acrobatic skills.
