Cruise from Piraeus to some of the most magnificent historical sites in the world! From ancient Athens our 7-day itinerary takes you on a cultural tour of Greece both ancient and modern.
Visit the splendour of the Acropolis. Pass through the world-famous Corinth canal, hewn from solid rock, explore the Ancient Corinth and Nemea, or see the spectacular 3600 year old the palace at Mycenae, supposed home of Agamemnon, the heroic warrior of Homer's Iliad. Visit Ithaki, the island home of the hero Odysseus. Run in the ancient Olympic stadium at Olympia. Experience the mountain serenity of the sanctuary of Delphi. Relax in a taverna by the sea on the island of Aegina. On your return to Athens, admire the dramatic cliff-top setting of the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, visited (and graffitied) by Lord Byron himself.
Arriving each day at or before noon - so you have more time to see the Classical or just appreciate the sunset over a glass of wine and a serving of olives with feta cheese.
