Departing from the port of Kos you will head towards the Asklepion, the most famous archaeological site of the island. Constructed in the 4th Century BC it was not only a temple of consecrated at the God Asclepios (the God of health), bu also a health resort. Your guided tour of the site will give you an in-depth account of this remarkable site. Zia Village is a small lively mountain village, from where you have a superb view to the Aegean Sea and the islands of Kalymnos and Pserimos. Being an arts and craft centre it has many small shops, some of them also selling the famous local herbs and thyme honey. Returning to Kos town you will visit the Platane tree of Hippokrates. It has been living for two and a half thousand years. According to the legend, Hippokrates, the father of Medice, taught his students under this tree.

Departing from the port of Kos, you will head towards the Asklepion, the most famous archaeological site on the island. Your guided tour of the site will give you an in depth account of this remarkable site. Then on to Zia village which is a small lively mountain village, from where you have a superb view to the Aegean Sea and the islands of Kalymnos and Pserimos. The village is an arts and craft centre and it has many small shops, some of them selling the famous local thyme and honey. Close to Kefalos, the most southwestern village of the island, you will enjoy your lunch break. Captain Yiannis and his crew will take you to the lovely bay of "Kamari" with his traditional Greek Kaiki, where you can enjoy the crystal-clear water with lots of fish. He will show you how to catch the fish yourself, in the traditional way. After the fishing lessons the boat anchors at the beach and while you are snorkeling or swimming your BBQ lunch will be prepared. On the way back to the port a short stop will be made at Antimachia, the village located in the middle of the island where you will visit a traditional windmill and house dating back 200 hundred years.

The water melon BBQ beach party is taking place in the city of Kos near the port (20 minutes walk from the pier). The party starts at 8pm with lots of food, music, drinks and of course happenings. A big water melon full of juices and alcohol is served per two persons during the party. The price includes the food, cost of water melons and inclusive of VAT. Extra drinks are not included in the price.
